Where is the outrage?

Well, the “Koran Burning Reverend”  has decided to call off the burning.

Good.

I don’t agree with what he was wanting to do and I don’t find it to be the Christian thing to do.  After all, we are commanded to “live peaceably with every man” if we can, and that was completely under his control.  I’m glad he saw the light (or didn’t see it as the case may be)

However, I have some questions:

Saudi Arabia Desecrates Hundreds of Bibles Annually
Muslim Students Urinate, Spit On, Then Burn Bible
Christians in Gaza Fear for Their Lives as Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses
Muslims Burn Bibles in Pakistan
Bibles Destroyed in Afghanistan…By US Military
Burn a Bible for Blasphemy Day

Here are my questions: Where is the outrage?  Where are the politicians begging them not to do it?  Where are the press releases, new paper articles, main stream media, stories on the 6:00 news, and celebrity figures coming out in opposition to this?  Why hasn’t Barack Obama or Robert Gates placed a phone calls to these people?  Why haven’t these things been called “idiotic” by government officials?

Oh yeah, I forgot, it’s because it’s only a Bible.
